After having moved here from Chester sixteen years ago, I fell in love with the place. I enjoy the hidden aspects to the town such as its graffiti, stickers, weeds, other plants, roof tiles etc. All the things that are overlooked, forgotten about, never observed or painted over.

With that in mind, I bought a new slim, point and shoot digital camera to photograph it all.  I instantly found it a boon; so easy to use and get good results with. So I now upload them to this blog (web log site) to introduce other people around Britain (and the rest of Europe) to the delights and details of Hitchin, its architecture, events, nature and its ephemera.
