What you can&#8217;t see from here is that fact that The River <span id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_2\" class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" onclick=\"BLOG_clickHandler(this)\">Hiz<\/span> runs through the middle of them and under the market. (Canalised sometime in the 1920s) From ground level, it is glaringly <span id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_3\" class=\"blsp-spelling-corrected\" onclick=\"BLOG_clickHandler(this)\">obvious<\/span> that the designers of the more modern market (Moved many times around <span id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_4\" class=\"blsp-spelling-error\" onclick=\"BLOG_clickHandler(this)\">Hitchin<\/span>) had no real thoughts of trying to fit it in to its surroundings; being concrete, brick and garish metal roofs.
